Auto Expo 2018 is a week's time away and Suzuki two-wheelers looks all set for the event. The company will launch the Suzuki Intruder 150 FI at the motoring exhibition and this information has been revealed to us by a credible source close to the development. The new Suzuki Intruder 150 FI gets its power from the same 155cc, single cylinder, air-cooled engine that runs the existing model. The power and torque figures of the carbureted variant stand at 14.6 hp and 14 Nm respectively and the fuel injected mill will most likely have slightly better numbers. Also, the fuel injection system should result in a crisper throttle response. The braking set up for the Suzuki Intruder 150 FI will also remain the same with 266mm disc brake up front along with a 240mm disc unit at the rear. A single-channel ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) will continue to be on offer to ensure effective braking performance and added safety. Besides the new Intruder 150 FI, Suzuki will also display its entire line up with its MotoGP bike and race spec Gixxer 150 at Auto Expo 2018.
The suspension system of the motorcycle comprises of conventional telescopic forks at the front along with a seven-step adjustable monoshock at the rear. Other changes on the Suzuki Intruder 150 FI are not confirmed at the moment but one can expect some new graphics to differentiate itself from the regular model. The new Suzuki Intruder 150 FI is expected to be priced in the Indian two-wheeler market at close to Rs 1.05 lakh (ex-showroom). After the said update arrives, the motorcycle will make a more challenging case to compete with the likes of Bajaj Avenger Street 150. The latter is also due for an update and it will be interesting to see which motorcycle emerges as the clear winner in the months to come. More details to be announced during Auto Expo 2018.
