Pavan Kaushik is a veteran Corporate Communication and Reputation Advisor with over 35 years of experience in strategic brand building and leadership positioning. A specialist in navigating “high-stakes” industries, he serves as a trusted consultant for promoters and CXOs in sectors including mining, metals, infrastructure, and real estate.
Pavan’s career is distinguished by his leadership roles across both the Indian government and the private sector. He began his journey as a Gazetted Officer at the age of 23 with the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, where he spearheaded national campaigns on the New Economic Policy and rural development. He later served as the Media Head and Associate Professor at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), where he was instrumental in establishing the Fashion Communication department.
In the corporate world, Pavan is perhaps best known for his decade-long tenure at Hindustan Zinc (Vedanta Group) as Vice President and Head of Corporate Communication. He also served as the VP and Head of Corporate Communication for M3M India. Today, he is the Co-founder of Gurukshetra Consultancy, where he advises startups and large corporations on strategic narrative and stakeholder engagement.
