Zensar will offer outsourced human resource services powered by PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM and has also established a shared services centre in Pune that will focus on this. Zensar deputy chairman and managing director Ganesh Natrajan said that the focus initially will be on the domestic market.
The company has undertaken two pilot projects, one is for a Mumbai-based manufacturing company and the other is an internal one. He added that 35 professionals would be working on this initiative.
The centre will offer solutions to enable corporations to transform the way human resource functions are managed. A suite of applications ranging from personnel and payroll records to performance and competency management, e-learning and knowledge management will be available on a pay-per-use basis.
Zensar will offer a hosted PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM solution to organisations, that want to take advantage of PeopleSofts application. The company will be providing a corporate portal to the human resource chief and take care of all the back office planning and control functions.
PeoplSoft country manager Thiru Vengadam said, With Zensar we will widen our footprint in enterprises outside our traditional base, opening up a new market for PeoplSoft.
Commenting on the BPO initiatives of the company, he indicated that the goal of the company is to have 400 seats by the end of this year. It also has a 300-seat contract from a CPA aggregation firm, which is expected to start in the next 12-15 months.
