According to company officials, WNS expects the acquisition to bring $18-20 million in revenues to WNS in the next three years.
WNS will absorb ClaimsBPOs infrastructure, clients and employees.
ClaimsBPO has its processing facility in Nashik, which will be taken over by WNS. This becomes the third delivery location for WNS, the first two being Mumbai and Pune. The inclusion of ClaimsBPOs 400 professionals on its rolls takes the total headcount at WNS to over 3,000.
The ClaimsBPO senior management team will join WNS and will be part of a newly formed division, WNS ClaimsBPO. Craig Serio will lead the team and serve as president of the WNS ClaimsBPO division, Anil Bohora will be chief operating officer of WNS ClaimsBPO while Ajay Bohora will be the managing director of India operations for WNS ClaimsBPO.
WNS, in a statement, has stated that this acquisition is consistent with WNSs strategy of building expertise in verticals. WNS North America president and group chief financial officer Neeraj Bhargava said the company has been working with ClaimsBPO for the past few months. During this period, WNS had the opportunity to integrate ClaimsBPOs operational expertise, management experience and industry knowledge with its global delivery platform. Mr Bhargava added that WNS ClaimsBPO has already started servicing two new clients.
