The Central Bureau of Investigation has told Supreme Court it will probe the alleged involvement of Anil Ambani in the 2G scam.

The agency told court it would intensify probe to find out who were the real beneficiaries in the scam.

The agency also told the apex court that Tata Teleservices was not favoured by former Telecom Minister A Raja. Tata Group was a loser in spectrum allocation because of Raja's conspiracy with other co-accused in 2G scam, the agency said.

The agency refuted allegations that Tata group gifted land to DMK family for favours in spectrum allocation.

The bureau also gave a clean chit to Videocon Industries-owned Datacom in the 2G scam.

Unlike Swan and Unitech, Datacom was eligible to get licence, the CBI told court.
