At a press conference on the eve of the 8th annual general meeting here on Wednesday, VisualSoft Technologies chairman and managing director DVS Raju said the company will add 400 professionals in the next six to nine months. The company may go in for setting up another development centre to ramp up operations further, Mr Raju said.
There has been substantial improvement in the state of the global economy, particularly the US with more and more companies looking at offshore outsourcing. We hope to be able to exploit the trend. The next four to six quarters are interesting for VisualSoft, the company hopes to clinch a few more deals on a long-term basis, Mr Raju said.
With the return on investments (RoI) or the cost of ownership becoming a critical factor for multinationals across the globe, we at VisualSoft see tremendous scope for further ramp-up of our operations, Mr Raju said.
On the product side, the company is still looking out for joint venture partners and venture capitalists to spin out the division into a new entity. Currently the company owns IP on many products in security, frameworks and other areas. These products can be upgraded as they were developed under Web Service, J2EE and .NET technologies, he added.
