Seeking to downplay the roadshows of Congress chief Sonia Gandhi, BJP president Venkaiah Naidu has said no one should have objections to that.

For the first time Sonia is meeting people through the road shows and no one should have any objection to that, Naidu told reporters at the Mana airport here on Sunday.

He said in his 27-years of political career he has not yet been able to visit the entire country and she has just began her programme of meeting people. It is good to meet people in politics, he added.

On alliance with the VC Shukla-led Rashtriya Janatantrik Dal, Naidu said it has not yet been finalised. The former Union minister is in touch with them, but the state party unit has also some assessment and the central leadership will take a decision considering the situation prevailing in the country, he said, adding, however, the proposal is under consideration.
