US FoodService ties up with Himalya International

US FoodService, one of the largest broadline food service distributors in the US has tied up with Himalya International Ltd for sourcing frozen stuffed mushrooms and baby potatoes worth Rs 55 million.

The order is the first among a number of orders that the company expects to receive from FoodService over the next two quarters. This order is for the east coast market of the US and the shipments must be completed before Thanksgiving in October this year.

The company delivers food and related products to over 250,000 customers, including restaurants, healthcare facilities, lodging establishments, cafeterias, schools and colleges. The products will also be displayed on www.usfood.com for online ordering by the nation-wide customers of FoodService.
