NASPO (Chairman: Michael O'Neil) is a non-profit association founded in 2002 by companies in the security products industry that recognized the need for the control of secure products and technologies. Working closely with ANSI (American National Standards Institute) to develop and maintain this new standard, NASPO verifies that companies have successfully completed a comprehensive Security Risk Management Audit and are certified to be in compliance with the documented best practices in risk reduction infrastructure and systems, as well as techniques that assure security.
TUV Rheinland applied for NASPO certification based on frequent requests from business partners for our Brand Risk Management Service. The audit took into account many areas of security including facilities, information, supply chain, personnel, customers and procedures. The audit concentrated on our Brand Risk Management department, and included penetration testing of the system to ensure that our service is secure. The audit itself took place on GTAC premises, and scrutinized the physical security of the building, including doors, exits and alarm systems.
TUV Rheinland's Brand Risk Management service provides ideas, tools, and services to help you defend and protect the value and integrity of your brands. Achievement of NASPO certification makes TUV Rheinland one of the first companies in Asia to be internationally recognized as a secure Brand Protection provider, and illustrates the in-depth security that the company has attained throughout its operations in Asia.
