Its a question worth crores : after having grossed Rs 650 crore in 2006, is 2007 going to be more bountiful for Bollywood The Bollywood 2007 picture is star-studded: with an estimated Rs 600 crore tied up in big ticket films, starry reputations are at stake as the battle for the number one gains momentum who will the year 2007 belong to Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, or Hrithik Roshan Branded entertainment, Bollywood style, is poised to touch bigger highs (in 2006, every blockbuster had a brand doing a piggyback ride) and the first half of the year promises plenty of action : January will begin with biggies like Nikhil Advanis Salaam-e-Ishq, Mani Ratnams Guru. February is another powerpacked month with Vidhu Vinod Chopras Eklavya The Royal Guard, Farhan Akhtar-produced Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd., Madhur Bhandarkars Traffic Signal, Pradeep Sarkars Chooriyan, Subhash Ghai production Good Boy Bad Boy, Ram Gopal Varmas Nishabd, Feroz Nadiadwalas Fool N Final, Meghna Gulzars Just Married. In March, only Vipul Shahs Namaste London, UTVs Hat Trick and Mira Nairs The Namesake are big films to hit the marquee.
