LE Meridien Delhi offers a special Christmas party for children, with carol singers, between 12 pm and 4 pm on December 25 (Rs 450 per child). Children will enjoy the chefs special plum cakes and puddings from the Cake Shop. Adults can treat themselves to a special turkey feast or drop in at Pierre or Le Belvedere for a more intimate dinner on December 24 and 25, 7.30 pm onwards. La Piazza is offering a range of Italys traditional Christmas favourites on December 24 and 25. A buffet dinner with honey and balsamic sorbet, marinated lamb loin grilled with Parma ham, soft polenta with Taleggio, garlic and sage and a fresh ricotta cheesecake (Rs 1,250 plus tax per person) awaits you. Or you can celebrate Christmas with a special festive brunch with champagne (Rs 1,150 plus tax per person) 12 noon-3.30 pm.
TKs offers a grand Mongolian barbecue dinner (Rs 800 plus tax per person) on Christmas Eve. Treat yourself to a special champagne brunch with an extensive spread that includes salmon, tiger prawns and live crabs (Rs 1,250 plus tax per person).

Le Royal Meridien
International performers Mystique are staging their carnival dance sequences at Flames. The cuisine is a fiery Samarkand and Baluchi (Rs 950 per person). The hotel will continue its celebrations up to December 30. Meridien will host a traditional Christmas Eve dinner at La Brasserie.
The candle-lit buffet dinner will serve traditional delicacies like roast turkey with cranberry sauce, honey glazed leg of ham, plum pudding and stollen (Rs 750 per head).

Imperial China is hosting a candlelight dinner on Christmas Eve; the menu here is egg flower soup, stirfried turkey with walnuts and plum pudding.
Imperial Chinas Christmas lunch will have turkey and shiitake spring rolls, and stirfried turkey supreme with water chestnuts. Both menus are served at Rs 750 per person.
The Lotus Cafe is having a special dinner buffet on December 24 (Rs 575 per head). Turkey is the highlight here. A four-course menu is being prepared by Chef Danio Galli at Mezzo Mezzo, the hotels Italian restaurant. The vegetarian and non-vegetarian menus are both priced at Rs 1,250 per person, all inclusive. Christmas Day lunch at the Lotus Cafe will offer brunch for Rs 850 and Rs 1,050, depending upon ones choice of vegetarian or non-vegetarian menu. The Mezzo Mezzo menu also stands at the same price, though with a variety of wines and beer.
Mumbai's famous Ecotel is creating a special lunch on December 25. Chef Sudhir Pai will prepare roast turkey, plum pudding, mince pie, Yule log, and serve them with champagne. This event is scheduled at The Boulevard coffee shop (Rs 599 per head).
On Christmas Eve, The Boulevard will host a buffet (Rs 699 per head). The food apart, a pint of beer, wine and beverages will be served between 7.30 pm and 3 am. From December 15, The Gourmet Shop at The Orchid has been serving Yule log, plum pudding, Christmas cake, mince pie, Santa-face chocolates, moulded chocolates and almond rocks. And yes, their Christmas tree cakes are a hot sell.
Rodas is hosting a Desert Rose Night on December 22, which features a Lebanese theme complete with bellydancers, and DJs Song and Shon. Evidently an adults only do, the event has a cover charge of Rs 300 per couple. The same rate applies to the December 23 Mustafa Mustafa Night with its Afghan theme, but on Christmas Eve, Rodass Rocking Around the Christmas Tree bash has a cover charge of Rs 500 per couple. December 25 will feature a troupe of Latino dancers, while the next day its the turn of the Bombay Rock Association to charm guests.
You can have a Christmas buffet dinner at La Terrasse, with a complimentary glass of wine and a chance to participate in a lucky draw for a complimentary stay. Rs 900 per head.
Baan Thai offers a special set menu for dinner and a complimentary mug of beer (Rs 750 per person for vegetarians and Rs 900 per person for non-vegetarians).
While Gharana offers a regular a la carte menu, Chowringhee Bar will witness a live band performance with celebrities, from December 24 to December 31. The cover charge is Rs 500 per person, with a special offer on select beverage brands.
On Christmas Day, La Terrasse offers a traditional Christmas buffet lunch with a complimentary glass of champagne, gifts for children and a lucky draw for a complimentary stay at the Oberoi Grand (Rs 975 per person). Gharana will come alive to a Punjabi theme as Amrik Singh and his troupe perform live (Rs 1,600 per person from 7.30-9.30 pm and Rs 2,003 per person thereafter). The Chowringhee Bar will witness a live performance by Pink Elephant Reborne. The cover charge is Rs 1,000 per person, with special offer on selected beverage brands. You can also enjoy a Caribbean night at the Poolside with a live performance by Don Seagal and his troupe. There will be a barbecue buffet with a complimentary bottle of champagne per table (Rs 2,500 per person).
The hotel starts getting into a celebratory mood from December 22, when it hosts a childrens Christmas party on the lawns of the Regency Ballroom (Rs 450 per child or Rs 825 for child plus guardian). On Christmas Eve, theres a buffet dinner at the the Waterside Cafe accompanied by entertainment with a floating musical trio on the saxophone, guitar and violin (Rs 800 per person). On Christmas Day, the cafe will offer a special buffet lunch and dinner (Rs 800 per person), with the same musical trio performing again.
Celebrations at the Park Kolkata could easily be a lusty affair. At Kama, you can watch international Kamasutra divas and belly dancers, beginning December 24 and going on till New Years Day. During the same period, you can enjoy a special menu at Zen prepared by Chef Nut Kulnert, which highlights authentic Thai festive fare. For traditionalists, Ashfaque and Irfan Quereshi of the Imtiaz Quereshi gharana will present a surprise festival menu during the same time at Saffron. Delicacies of the Mughal nawabs will be covered in this.
Some fun is assured here. At Incognito, DJ Sarika from Mumbai will dish out hot numbers as another leading model from her city, Mahi of Tu Tu Wahi fame, leads on the dance floor. You can drink as much as you can here for Rs 1,500. At Banquets, there will be a kids carnival on Scooby Dooby Doo, followed by a gala dinner at Crystal featuring Indian pop icons Vipin Aneja and Vandy. The Hub offers a midnight buffet dinner, buffet lunch with sparkling wine, while the Barbeque hosts a buffet dinner with a live performance by European band White Mouse and DJ Poison followed by famous belly dancer Salomi (prices not available).
This Christmas, The Park Chennai opens with Lights In Motion on the building facade. The entire lobby and restaurants will be done up in candles, with the theme Glow & Peace. Belly dancers will perform in the hotel from December 24 onwards. Pink Pussy will be the flavour of the season in the bar (prices not available)!
