We all know that corporate communication persons dictate what company executives need to reveal and what needs to be kept under wraps. But do these norms apply to execs while partying At a recent evening do, just when cocktails loosened up peoples tongues, eavesdropper caught up with a senior exec from a leading Indian group company.

As they were not strangers to each other, a general conversation kicked off by the scribe ended up as a monologue, with complete silence at the other end.

The invisible hand of the companys corp com present there, was clearly at work.

Just as the silence was getting slightly awkward, the company exec who was almost frozen by now finally spoke up and uttered, these days if one says anything, who knows it may appear in tomorrows newspapers.

R&R For Mulayam
Wondering what chief minister Mulayam Singh Yadav has been up to of late Eavesdropper gathers that the Uttar Pradesh CM has had an operation of the prostrate gland at the Army Hospital, Research and Referral, in Delhi last week.

This operation was kept under wraps, although the party general secretary Amar Singh was spotted making a quiet entry late at night. When he was asked whether he came to see Mr Yadav, Mr Singh responded with a big smile and pretended he did not hear anything and went inside.

This VIP ward of the hospital was a busy sector during that time with senior doctors rushing in and out the CMs room every five minutes. The lesser mortals in the hospital had no choice but to put up with the VVIP treatment given to the former defence minister.
