SML ISUZU to launch XM truck range on Dec 30

SML ISUZU Limited, formerly Swaraj Mazda Limited, set up in 1983-85 as a joint venture between Sumitomo Corporation and Mazda Motor Corporation Japan would introduce its XM series vehicles in Indian market on December 30.

According to E.Seto, Managing Director and CEO, SML ISUZU, the XM series vehicle models available for Indian market to begin with, would include Cosmo-XM, Super 12.9 XM, Samrat HD 19 XM, Samrat Tipper XM, S7 buses with 40 and 51 seats and will be followed with other XM model vehicles. Isuzu Motors is considered a global leader in commercial vehicle and diesel engine markets.

The launch comes in the aftermath of sensing the potential ahead with a focus to timely address the growing demand in surface transport after strengthening and widening of existing highways to provide for high speed goods transportation, increased passenger transportation, high in luxury, speed, safety and comfort. The SMLI launch is also to broaden its product portfolio to give a combined advantage of better fuel efficiency and higher Torque to reduce operating cost and to give better acceleration.
