HDFC Ergos Health Suraksha top-up

HDFC Ergo has launched Health Suraksha Top Up plan, which supplements the existing health policy by insuring a customer for a larger sum insured limit at lower cost. This policy comes into force once the sum insured of the existing policy is exhausted, giving an additional sum insured to cover the medical expenses beyond a threshold limit of the existing health insurance plan. The top-up plan is available for sum insured options of R5 lakh, R7.50 lakh and R10 lakh. The plan covers customers in the age group of 90 days to 65 years.

Portfolio SIP from RCAM

Reliance Capital Asset Management (RCAM), part of Reliance Capital, has launched Portfolio Systematic Investment Plan. Customers of RCAM can choose and invest in a desired set of RMF schemes at their convenient frequency, either monthly or quarterly. Investors can choose to invest across all the asset classes equity, debt or gold. RCAM investors can start investing in multiple schemes with a minimum of R6,000 by way of Portfolio SIP. Portfolio SIP empowers customers to build diversified portfolio across asset classes in longer period of time with smaller sums of investment at regular intervals, says Sundeep Sikka, CEO, Reliance Capital Asset Management.

ICICI Lombard offers global travel insurance

ICICI Lombard General Insurance has launched a new travel insurance product called International Travel Insurance, which provides overseas medical insurance along with coverage for all trip related risks. As one-stop solution, it caters to the needs of not only international travellers but also the insureds family back home. The policy provides coverage on a host of listed medical and non-medical expenses while travelling abroad. Its a unique travel insurance policy that provides value-added assistance services for the insureds dependents in India. These include services pertaining to medical concierge, automotive assistance and lifestyle related. No medical check-up is required till 85 years.

Tata AIA Lifes endowment plan

Tata AIA Life Insurance Company has launched MahaLife Supreme, a limited premium paying, non-linked, non-participating, endowment insurance plan that offers customers a guaranteed annual income after the premium payment term till end of the chosen policy term. The customers will also get a guaranteed lump sum at maturity, with the benefit of life insurance protection throughout policy term. The plan comes with two options. In the first option, where term of the plan is 35 years and premiums have to be paid till the 15th year . In Option B, the term of the plan is 30 years and premiums have to be paid till the 12th year. The plan suits those who desire a steady and guaranteed second income.
