Florida: Tiger Woodss biggest corporate backer has reduced the role of the worlds top-ranked golfer in its marketing at the annual PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Florida. Nike Incs outdoor booth at the events annual Demo Day features only one photo of Woods, located near an apparel display inside the companys tent. Outside of the booth at the Orange County National Golf Centres driving range, are photos of Nike-sponsored golfers Justin Leonard and Suzann Pettersen alongside versions of the companys newest clubs.
Fake Google, YouTube sites in China
Beijing: Imitation Web sites of both Google and YouTube have emerged in China as the country faces off against the real Google over its local operations. YouTubecn.com offers videos from the real YouTube, which is blocked in China. The Google imitation is called Goojje and includes a plea for the US-based Web giant not to leave China.
Breaks help retain information
London: Taking a break after learning something new helps retain information for long, according to a study. "Taking a coffee break after a class can actually help retain the information," said Dr Lila Davachi,of the New York University's Department of Psychology. The study suggested that even a short rest or break while conscious could help brain sort and retain information.
