Superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer 'Happy New Year' box office collections have crossed Rs 135 crore mark in the domestic market, courtesy a sensational start on day 1 and decent opening weekend, but thereafter it has all been downhill.

As per data available, 'Happy New Year' box office collections stand at Rs 13.17 crore on Day 5 with an overall (India) business of Rs 137.04 crore.

However, 'Happy new Year' box office collections have dropped to a level that's more than the 5th day business of other biggies like Salman Khan's 'Kick' (Rs 28.89 crore), Aamir Khan's 'Dhoom 3' (Rs 20.14 crore), Hrithik Roshan's 'Bang Bang' (Rs 15.36 crore). However, it has done better business than Chennai Express's Rs 11.5 crore.

'Happy New Year' might have managed to push the amazing performance of Aamir Khan's 'Dhoom 3' to second position with an all-time best opening score of Rs Rs 44.97 crore, but the film, is seeing a fall in numbers in day-to-day business thereafter. In fact, 'Dhoom 3' has beaten 'Happy New Year' collections in last four days.
