With a view to update and provide all vital quantitative tool for foreign exchange options in a clear and logical manner, the Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) will organise a one-day seminar here on January 30.

The seminar, titled foreign exchange risk management, would cover financial management of foreign exchange risk and benefit Coimbatore-based exporters, FIEO vice-president A Shaktivel said in a press release here.The event is jointly being organised by the local Chapter of the Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and HSBC Bank.

The success trading in the foreign exchange market depends critically on how well an exporter assessed, priced and managed risk and on its ability to limit losses from particular transactions and to keep its overall exposure controlled, Shaktivel added.
