M-tee manufactures dry motor plants (dry mixed concrete and plaster plants). The dry motor could be used at the construction site either by mixing manually or mixing the concrete in a mixer supplied by the company.
This is the first time that such a product being introduced in India. Addressing a press conference here, Schwing Stetter India managing director Mr Anand Sundaresan said that the company has already bagged an order to set up a 115 tonne per hour dry motor plant from a leading cement manufacturer in Chennai. The contract is worth around Rs 6 crore plus the installation charges. However, since the company has requested strict secrecy, we are not at liberty to disclose the name, he said.
The company is also in talks with eight odd cement companies to sell the new technology and equipment.
It is expecting a slow but steady growth in the Indian market by selling two to three plant per year. It is a tedious task to erect the plants. We are, therefore, going slowly in marketing the product.
He said the company would be initially importing and assembling the equipment at its Chennai plant and would think about setting up a manufacturing facility once volume picks up.
