SBI In Alliance With TVS Motors, Apollo

The State Bank of India (SBI) on Monday signed two separate memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with TVS Motor Company Ltd for providing two-wheeler finance and Apollo Hospitals Enterprises Ltd for loans for expensive specialty medical treatment.

Addressing a press conference here to mark the announcement of the alliances, SBI chief general manager (Chennai circle) S Krishnamurthy said the tie up with TVS Motors is to provide loans for TVS customers at easy terms and conditions. All permanent employees of the government, corporates and reputed private sector companies, professionals and farmers with a monthly income of over Rs 5,000 will be eligible for the loan. The aggregate loan amount will be six times higher than the monthly income of the customer.
