SBI Hits New 52-week High On Positive Factors

The stock of the countrys largest commercial bank, the State Bank of India (SBI), extended its gains to hit a new 52-week high on Wednesday on the back of a host of positive news for the banking sector.

On The Stock Exchange, Mumbai (BSE), SBI gained Rs 3.55, or 1.11 per cent, to close at Rs 324.80, off its intra-day high of Rs 330.30, on volume of 17.07 lakh shares. The SBI shares have gained over 20 per cent in the last two months.
