Samsung expands affordable smartphones range, launches Galaxy Star 2, Galaxy Star Advance, Galaxy Ace NXT

Samsung Electronics today launched three new smartphones, all sub-Rs 10,000 devices.

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd, a global leader in digital technologies, today announced the launch of three new smartphones ? sub-Rs 10,000 devices – the Galaxy Star 2, Galaxy Star Advance and Galaxy Ace NXT, in India.

With this Samung now has seven smartphones in this range, where it has been facing tough competition from devices like Moto E and Micromax Unite 2.

Samsung is offering 200 MB free data from Vodafone for the first six months with these devices.?

Powered by the latest Android Kit Kat and Samsung?s proprietary Touch Wiz user interface, the three phones will have a ?One Touch Multi-Tasking? hardware button, enabling consumers to toggle between apps.?

Galaxy Star 2 and Galaxy Star Advance sport a leather finish back. They also support 12 Indian languages including Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Guajarati, Punjabi, Urdu, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Oriya, and Assamese, enabling consumers to take advantage of a wide range of applications and exciting content in the language of their choice.?

Samsung Galaxy Star 2 is priced at Rs 5,100, while the Galaxy Star Advance and Galaxy Ace NXT are priced at Rs 7,400.

The 2G Galaxy Star 2 has an upgraded 3.5? display, 2MP camera with advanced camera modes.?

The Galaxy Star Advance comes with a powerful 3MP camera with flash and has a large 4.3? screen.

Galaxy Ace NXT is a 3G phone with a 4? display and a 3MP camera with flash.
