Russia Asks Pak To End Terror Immediately

New Delhi and Moscow have decided to enhance cooperation in fighting international terrorism with the latter asking Islamabad to forthwith dismantle the terrorist infrastructure and end cross-border terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir.

The fifth meeting of the Indo-Russian working group on Afghanistan, co-chaired by foreign secretary Kanwal Sibal and Russian deputy foreign minister V Trubnikov, held detailed discussions on the political and security situation in Afghanistan, Central and South Asia.

According to the foreign ministry spokesperson here on Wednesday, Moscow fully shares New Delhis concern over infiltration and cross-border terrorism.

It has asked Pakistan to dismantle terrorist infrastructure and stop cross-border terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir, she added.
