RK Marble plans to set up warehousing unit in Dubai

RK Marble Private Ltd is planning to set-up a warehousing facility for RK Marbles in Dubai in 2005. The company would be investing Rs 8 crore for this facility.

RK Marble Pvt Ltd director Vikas Patni said that the company is also planning an office and a distribution network of five traders in Dubai in the coming year.

The company is also focusing on other countries in forming a distribution network which includes the US, Middle-East, UK and Italy. With the move, RK Marble Private Ltd hopes to garner an exports turnover of Rs 15 crore, in the year 2005, he added.

Regarding the Indian market, Mr Patni said: We are planning to set-up our third mining base in Madhya Pradesh for marble processing, at an investment of Rs 20 crore next year.

Further, Mr Patni explained that RK Marble aims to increase the number of gang saws at its processing plant at the Kishangarh Factory from 14 to 25 gang saws, in the year 2005.

Recently we have also sourced a latest 18 head state of art polishing plant from Breton, Italy and an automatic Resin Line from Italy. The process includes de-moisturisationn, vaccumisation and polymerization, he added.

As for the distribution network, Mr Ravindra KR. Gupta, vice president (sales & marketing), RK Marble Private Ltd said that RK Marble plans to expand its authorised service dealers from 47 to 100, and invest Rs 10 crore in implementing new marketing initiatives to promote Wonder processed marbles, in the year 2005.
