Tirupati Services consent order cleared by Sebi

A panel consisting of chairman of Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) UK Sinha and whole time member of Sebi Prashant Saran has passed a consent order dated September 23 on the application submitted by Tirupati Services for delay in their compliance during the year 2006. Tirupati Services has remitted a sum of R50,000 towards the terms of consent in the matter.

SpiceJet okays 3.59 crore shares to promoter

The shareholders of low-cost airline SpiceJet on Thursday have approved issuing over 3.59 crore shares to promoter Kalanithi Maran on preferential basis. The shareholders have also approved appointment of five directors on board, including promoter Kalanithi Maran, Spicejet said in a filing to stock exchanges The authorised share capital of the company will increase to R565 crore, from R500 crore, it added. Other directors appointed on the board are Kavery Kalanithi, J Ravindran, Nicholas Martin Paul, and M K Harinarayanan.

Rahul, wife sell Bajaj Auto shares to children

Bajaj Auto on Thursday said its promoters Rahul Bajaj and his wife Ruparani Bajaj have sold 3.65 lakh shares for about R56 crore, while their children Sanjiv Bajaj and Sunaina Kejriwal have purchased the company shares. Sunaina Kejriwal bought 1.45 lakh shares, while a similar amount of shares, representing a 0.05% stake in the company, have been sold by Rahul Bajaj, the auto firm said. Sanjiv Bajaj bought 2.20 lakh shares, representing 0.08 stake, while an equal number of shares were sold by his mother Ruparani Bajaj. While Sunaina's purchase value for the shares was about R22.21 crore, that of Sanjiv was R33.7 crore.

Ambuja Cements allots 309,100 Esops

Ambuja Cements has informed BSE that the share allotment & investor grievance committee at its meeting held on September 29 has allotted 309,100 equity shares on exercise of the stock options by the employees.
