There is a lot of confusion about the emerging biofuels scenario in the country, aided in no small measure by a procrastinating government that has set no policy guidelines. In this context, G Natarajan?s article (?Biofuels policy needs pragmatism?, May 20) was an eye-opener, touching upon many key areas in this emerging sector. Still, stakeholders are unable to move forward decisively as misinformation and half-truths are rife about biofuels. We need seasoned experts to unravel mysteries in this very important arena and offer some pragmatic solutions.
