Orissa chief minister Naveen Patnaik assured South Korean President Lee Myung-Bak that Posco Indias 12 million tonne steel project will be implemented in the state.

The CM met Lee at the party hosted by President Pratibha Patil at Rastrapati Bhavan in New Delhi on Tuesday and discussed the $12-billion project, considered to be the single largest FDI in the country.

I assured the South Korean Prez that the Posco project will be expedited, Patnaik told the media soon after his arrival from New Delhi on Tuesday night. I also told him (Lee) that the land acquisition for the project would be completed very soon, he added.
