As head of marketing in HSBC India, Ms Pendurkar will be responsible for brand building, market research, advertising and some elements of product development and customer communication. She will report to the CEO of HSBC India.
Ms Pendurkar had earlier marketing stints with Hindustan Ciba Giegy (now Novartis) and Hindustan Lever Ltd (HLL) prior to joining HSBC. She was till recently leading the Fair and Lovely brand at HLL and has been instrumental in rejuvenating the brand in the last few years.
