The wireless spectrum committee set up to study the efficient usage of spectrum will soon submit its report to the government. The committee is finalising its report. When contacted, the wireless advisor to the government PK Garg said, The government is appreciative of the problems faced by the cellular industry and is trying to do its level best. Mr Garg is a committee member.
We will soon be submitting the report to the minister for government approval, said Mr Garg. The committee had been constituted by the ministry of Communications late in January to look into the demands of cellular operators regarding allocation of additional spectrum.
