Prior to this, Malhotra was chief of international sales and marketing for the automotive and farm sector of Mahindra & Mahindra. With over 30 years of experience in the automotive industry, Malhotra has a proven track record in sales, service, network expansion & development, brand-building and customer-centric initiatives in reputed automotive organisations including Bajaj Auto and Maruti Suzuki. He has worked across the length and breadth of India, said a statement.
In this role, Malhotra will be responsible for developing business strategies to maximise Nissans overall performance, managing product introduction and significantly increasing the presence and accessibility of the Nissan and Datsun brands through continuing network expansion.
