Nine solar power projects of 8.8 mw from Haryana have been given the final approval by Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) to be set up under the Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission. These projects would come up under the scheme as small scale solar photo voltaic (SPV) rooftop power plants.

A senior official of Haryana Renewable Energy Development Agency (Hareda) told FE that the final nod was given by IREDA in September after the developers signed the power purchase agreement with the state utilities.
