Mustardseed futures up on increase buying

Mustardseed prices edged up by Rs 6 to Rs 2,875 per quintal in future trading on Thursday on increased buying by traders.

Market analysts said prices improved on the back of higher spot markets cues.

At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, mustardseed prices for delivery in July moved up by Rs 6, or 0.21 per cent, to Rs 2,875 per quintal, with an open interest of 1,75,110 lots.

Likewise, the prices for August delivery also went up by Rs 6, or 0.21 per cent, to Rs 2,914 per quintal, with an open interest of 93,000 lots.
