PM To Inaugurate Vallarupadam Project

IA's Hyderabad, Tirupati Service
Indian Airlines (IA) is introducing four flights per week between Hyderabad and Tirupati, with effect from August 30, 2004. The Hyderabad-Tirupati-Hyderabad sector will now have flights with Airbus A320 on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, a release said. Besides, IA has recently introduced a promotional fare of Rs 2,180 (one way economy class) on this sector, which is valid up to October 15, 2004, added the release.

Sankranthi Agarbathi Company, a incense stick manufacturer has obtained the ISO 9001-2000 certificate. With this certification the company has become the only incense stick manufacturer in the country, said the company release. The group has posted a profit after minority interest of Rs 84.12 crore for the year ended March 31, 2004 as compared to Rs 58.31 crore for the year ended March 31, 2003. The company's total income has increased from Rs 216.78 crore in the FY-03 to Rs 285.34 crore in the year ended March 31, 2004.
