The railway ministry’s decision to connect the Manesar-based Tau Devi Lal modern industrial township with a broad-gauge line at Grahi Harsru is likely to give a boost to foreign investment in the region besides export potential.

In his recent meeting with railway minister Nitish Kumar, Haryana chief minister Om Prakash Chautala has pointed out that giant industries like Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India and others, located in this township, have to transport their export consignments by road to the Tughlaqabad inland container depot in the Capital. Once this township is rail-connected, exporters in Udyog Vihar, Technology Park, Bawal and other estates can conveniently avail of the container facilities at the recently-developed Continental Warehousing Corporation .
