The BJP, which used to call itself the party with a difference, is in complete disarray. It has now been reduced to a party full of differences. After Jaswant Singh, its now the turn of Arun Shourie to publicly criticise the party leadership. The BJP seems to be in no mood to address the real problem ailing it: that, as a national party, it has to shed its hardcore Hindutva agenda and broadbase its popular strength. Also, its top leaders have an ego problem. They think they are better than others. If the internal squabbling continues, we will soon see the end of the party.
