Addressing the press conference to announce the uniqueness of its MBA programme, its founder chairman V Pujari said GBMA has been aimed at facilitating them `evolution' of the students through a process of `experience based learning' of various skills and attitudes needed in the areas of operations.
The programme incorporates integrated knowledge of core disciplines in business as well as an understanding of cross cultural aspects of global business. It also enables the students to experience common business issues from global management perspective as well as strengthen their understanding.
It has been designed to discipline the students into nurturing their body, mind and soul so that they emerge more refined and energetic individuals, Mr Pujari claimed.
The GMBA programme is of two years with six semesters (normal MBA has four semesters); classes at unconventional venues such as hotels, resorts, valleys, exotic locations, mountain tops, sea shores, jungles and stock exchanges to give a right ambience, he said.
Theoritical inputs through case studies, lectures, seminars and symposia. The school is affiliated with the US-based American University of Hawaii and on completion of the programme, the degree certificates would be issued by the American University, he added.
