After the overwhelming response to the first conclave last year, this time the conference has been titled Moving Consumer Goods Faster. The conclave will provide a platform for debate (titled Point and Counterpoint) between industry veterans on issues like branding, pricing, creativity, televisions role and market research.
The speakers include MS Banga, chairman, Hindustan Lever Ltd, Nadir Godrej, managing director, Godrej Industries, Shantanu Khosla, country manager, Procter & Gamble India, Shripad Nadkarni, vice-president (marketing), Coca Cola India and Pepsi Indias Satyendra Agarwal. The focus of discussion will be on strategies applied by FMCG companies for growing and contributing effectively to the bottomline.
The unique pattern of the conclave will analyse the pros and cons of every topic, thus paving the way for verbal battles that will churn out the best of ideas from some very good brains.
The two-day conclave starting on November 18, 2003 will begin with the welcome notes from Mr Godrej, while Mr Banga will deliver the keynote address.
