"We have more than 1,000 companies participating in this fifth largest electrical and electronics exhibition and expect to draw over one lakh business visitors," IEEMA vice-president and chairman of Elecrama organising committee RN Mukhija said here on Sunday.
"The event is expected to provide a direct interface to manufacturers with their direct customers and also address the concerns of the electrical and electronic industry as well," Mr Mukhija said.
As a new initiative, he said ELECRAMA would have a+design point+ a special pavilion for engineering students, who would display their innovative products and designs for the industry.
A separate enclosure called +Procurement Park+ has beenplanned where representatives of major procurement ministries, like power, defence, railways would be present to inform exhibitors and visitors the details regarding purchase, policies and procedure to procure products. — PTI
