'Bang Bang', which collected Rs 135.45 crore in its first week, is director Siddharth Anand's highest grossing film ever out beating his previous release Anjaana Anjaani that collected Rs 40.29 crore.
On the other hand, it is Hrithik Roshan's second highest being unable to overtake the collection record set by the actor's earlier release Krrish 3 that collected Rs 166.52 crore in Week 1.
'Bang Bang' box office collections have been steadily falling over the last few days and day 8 (Thursday) was no different. 'Bang Bang' collections plummeted to just Rs 7.42 crore from Rs 8.23 crore on Wednesday for a grand India total of Rs 135.45 crore and if you add the overseas business, these come to Rs 174.27 crore.
For Katrina Kaif, who has had a string of recent hits, the film ranks third, behind 'Dhoom 3' that collected Rs 188.99 crore and 'Ek Tha Tiger' that did Rs 154.21 crore.
