Hindustan Petroleum Corp Ltd (HPCL) has sold a total of 90,000 tonnes of naphthasome at higher premium than its last spot sale via its regular monthly tender, traders said on Thursday. Of the total sales, the lots sold to Vitol and Itochu were the spot parcels, while the other lot sold to Projector was the term parcel, as the refiner decides monthly, which lot should be loaded to a spot buyer and a term buyer between two lots produced from Vizag every month, traders said.
