Hotels.com has launched a new Android app which is compatible with wearable technology. This new app is one of India’s first travel apps to be for wearable technology. Travellers using smart watch devices (Android wear) will now have the luxury of accessing accommodation booking details direct on their wrist as well as on their phone.
Hotels.com’s existing Android app allows users to receive helpful reminders before checking-in to their hotel, which means no having to pull out travel wallets, phones or itineraries. Notifications are sent at 2 PM on the day of check-in with customers able to see full reservation details as well as hotel images, address and maps (opens on user phone).
