Manmohan Malik, chairman and CEO of HIL, claimed during the commissioning of the plant that that the company had entered a new trajectory of exponential growth by setting up this state-of-the-art mozzarella cheese unit.
The unit has a capacity to produce 30,000 tonne per year. The total project cost is Rs 51.25 crore. The unit has been set up in collaboration with Winona Foods, the largest producer and distributor of cheese in North America.
The company chairman said foreign collaborators would pick up close to 19% stake in Himalaya International.
