The Return of Hanuman-- a sequel to the surprise hit of 2005 animation movie Hanuman, which hit the theatres on Friday , is eyeing the global market with the makers planning to launch it in the United States as well as the United Kingdom within two months.

The first movie, which was released with only 100 prints, had ushered in a new era of animated movies in Indian film industry with its phenomenal success at the box office.

The sequel is all set to conquer the global market with the makers planning to launch it in the US and UK in one or two months. They are also planning to dub the movie in foreign languages -- English, German, Italian and Spanish -- besides dubbing it in Tamil and Telugu.

We are planning to release it a little later in overseas market, specially in the UK and the US, with their large Indian population. The movie will also be dubbed in English, German, Italian, Spanish and French because the potential of this character is universal and it has the capability of cutting across cultures, said Bhatia.

The Return of Hanuman is set in modern day India and this time Hanuman has returned to the earth in a new avatar Maruti, who is a school boy with a mission to save the world from evil doers.

While it is too early to predict box-office response to the movie, director Anurag Kashyap is confident about its success.

The director, who is known for making dark, controversial and issue based cinema has tried his hand on a children animated movie for the first time.
