GMI Starts 3rd Shift At Gujarat Plant

Buoyed by a good response to its multi-utility vehicle Chevrolet Tavera, General Motors India (GMI) said on Tuesday it has started third shift at its plant in Halol, Gujarat.

Over 500 cars have been delivered after deliveries started from June 16, with over 3,000 units booked for delivery till August, said a release. We believe that Chevrolet Tavera is just the right product for India, a GMI spokesperson said.
