Foreign funds can further acquire 7.73% in NDTV

Media firm New Delhi Television Ltd said foreign funds can further purchase a 7.73 per cent stake in the company.

In a communique to the Bombay Stock Exchange, the company said that the promoters - Prannoy Roy and Radhika Roy have acquired a further 7.73 per cent stake (48,35,850 equity shares) from foreign firm GA Global Investments Ltd.

Consequent to the said acquisition, the Foreign Institutional Investors or non-resident Indians can now purchase this stake from the promoters.

For the quarter ended September 30, the promoters held 53.27 per cent stake in the company.

Shares of NDTV were trading at Rs 464.25, up 0.96 per cent in the afternoon trade on the BSE.
