Says Eveready director RL Jospeh: This is an effort to build a long-term bond with the consumer. An attempt has been made to make purchasing batteries interesting through this offer.

As per the offer, with the purchase of Eveready batteries each consumer can accumulate runs. A consumer who has earned hundred runs or more is entitled to an Eveready World Cup schedule and bookmark-cum-scratch card free of cost. Consumers can redeem these runs for prizes like cricket jerseys and sunglasses to watch a cricket match featuring India in South Africa.
