Dont resume arms supply to Nepal, says CPI-M

CPI-M on Wednesday asked the UPA government not to resume arms supply to Nepal till democracy was completely restored in the hill country.

Speaking on the decision taken by Nepal Democracy Solidarity Committee, a forum consisting of nine political parties, CPI-M politburo member Sitaram Yechuri said, The UPA government must continue to take a tough stand against the monarch. The arms supply ban should also continue till democracy is restored in Nepal.
