Dont fast, PM tells Dharia

Asking former planning commission deputy chairman Mohan Dharia to await the reports of the experts groups on farming community and the Centres action thereafter, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Monday asked Dharia to refrain from going on a hunger strike from November 14 over demands relating to farmers. Saying that Dharias fast could only precipitate matters, the Prime Minister told a delegation led by Dharia that the final reports of the expert groups were due shortly, according to a Prime Ministers Office press release.
