DocuWorld India 2002 begins in Mumbai

DocuWorld India 2002, a two-day event being held by Xerox to showcase latest Xerox technologies, solutions and services in the telecom, banking, insurance, education, manufacturing, printing and publishing industries, as well as solutions aimed at government and corporate sectors, began in Mumbai on Thursday.

The inaugural speech was given by Alvin Toffler, author of the bestseller Future Shock. Event highlights include a display of Xerox products in the Office of the future that help companies discover ways to transition from older stand-alone copying equipment to more integrated, networked, Web-ready, multifunctional and colour-enabled devices that seek to improve white collar productivity.

The event also features a corporate reprographic department, which will be a one-stop-shop for all office document needs.

Solutions Zone with demonstrations of insurance policy printing, personalised cheques printing, print-on-demand and wide format printing, etc.
