Samsung India Electronics Ltd has set up the first of its Samsung DigitAllhomes in the Capital. This is the first in a series of four-five Samsung DigitAllhomes the company intends to set up in India this year.
According to Mr M B Lee, vice—president-marketing, Samsung India,‘‘The Samsung DigitAllhome goes beyond the concept of a Digital Plaza or a Brand Shop because in DigitalAllhome, we are trying to create a more interactive environment and provide more lifestyle orientation to the display, so that the customer can visualise the products in his/her own home settings.’’ Thus the company has created niches within the shop, like a modern kitchen or a Home Theatre experience in a living room, using a Samsung Projection TV and DVD player.
The company plans to supplement its existing 24 Samsung Digital Plazas (Brand Shops) by setting up ‘Samsung DigitAllhomes’ in select cities. It will also be creating exclusive Samsung corners in multi-brand outlets this year.
