The spate of strikes and labour problems at Honda Motors and Scooters India in Gurgaon has crippled the companys distribution network. Dealers of the Company are not just facing the wrath of the customers, but also severe economic losses.

Speaking to FE a Honda dealer said, We are not able to supply the vehicles to the customers on time. Earlier, it took around a week from the date of order to deliver the vehicle, but now it takes a month or more to deliver the vehicle. That too, the company delivers after a lot of requests.

He also said, We are loosing orders as a result of non-delivery of vehicles on time and customers are withdrawing their advance payments and purchasing other brands of vehicles, Honda is loosing its credibility and market share.

Another dealer said that there is also a shortage of parts of Honda bikes. As a result of which the dealers were beginning to face the wrath of customers who come to dealers to get their bikes serviced.
